The NEW Hyundai 8 Tonne Vertical Electric Log Splitter HYLS8000V is powered by a powerful and reliable 3000W electric motor. It is a heavy-duty log splitter ideal for cutting larger, longer logs to use in your Aga, wood burner, open fire or fire pit.

The electric motor is not only virtually maintenance free, but it is also much quieter and cleaner than petrol equivalents.

This log splitter provides a massive 8 tonnes of splitting force, which is ample for splitting larger logs quickly and effectively. It can split logs up to 400mm (15.5”) in diameter and up to a maximum length of 650mm (25.5”).

The log splitter requires two hands to use thus ensuring that your hands and fingers are well out of the way from the splitting mechanism during use. It is much safer to use than an axe!

Fitted with two wheels and a handle, this vertical log splitter is manoeuvrable and can be used outside or in your workshop.
