Easy to use, powerful enough to split big logs with difficult grain, particularly if the wood is dry. I am very pleased with it (much better than wedges and a sledge hammer!)

I was a bit dubious as to how good it would be, but i didnt need to worry, it works great.Splits logs no problem, even quite large ones, and great value for money.
