Extremely good suction and mulching of leaves. Good blowing velocity. Change from vaccuum to blowing is not as easy as those models which use a switch, but not really a problem. Metal impeller will last better than cheaper plastic alternatives

This is an excellent product. It is robustly constructed, easy to put together and equally easy to convert from blower to vacuum. Power for either is far better than anything I have owned before. Blockages (which don't happen often) are easily cleared. Its first use was on large, soggy sycamore leaves which were easily blown into a huge pile and then vacuumed. It was a tough test and handled it with aplomb. Cannot recommend the Toro or Gardenlines too highly.

Very good machine, and excellent build. The blower is faultless, but the vac appeared to be a bit weak for the job. Very happy, though, as we bought it for the blower. The vac works, but not as good as expected

Brilliant product. It's light to carry yet boasts good performance. I love the variable speed control, unlike others where there are 2 settings. Would recommend it.

The infinetely variable speed and the metal impellor were the deciding factors in selecting this excellent product.

A seriously good leaf-sucker. First of all it's light. The weight of the leaf bag when full is born by the shoulder strap so the machine stays light. Secondly the bag is pretty dust proof so you don't get loads of bits and dust in your lungs and throat. Performance doesn't decline as the bag fill until close to capacity. Third, blockages are easily cleared. Fourth, the bag could be easier to remove from the machine. Compared with the Flymo I've just taken to the tip, it is everything the Flymo wasn't.

With a huge amount of leaves to collect I need a good vac/mulcher. The Toro is light and fairly powerful & comparable to my old Black & Decker Master vac. The Toro blows well considering its lower wattage, but the B&D still beats it on this score. However the blower requires two sections to fit it to the machine body - fiddly but manageable with practice. I'm a little skeptical of the 16:1 mulching ratio claim - seems more like the standard 10:1 to me. But where this machine scores is with the leaf collection cart - 130 litre capacity. You have to pay more but the machine would be pretty run of the mill without it and it saves a lot of time between empties. I recommend using several pop up Bosmere skips to help save more time. Overall it is rather pricey & better at vacuuming & mulching than blowing, but fantastic for a large garden with many large trees.
