Eliet Spiker Electric Scarifier
The ELIET Spiker with its powerful 3hp 2200watt motor is the ideal machine to deal with compacted soil and water logged ground which can cause algae growth in your grass. It has an operating width of 38cm and is equipped with 18 spikes each 5 mm thick, made of hardened steel for a long life. High-quality wheels with double ball bearings make this machine roll over the grass as if it were automatic. The wheels are also aligned so that the machine can dethatch independently from the unevenness of the surface which precludes a scalping effect. Each wheel can be adjusted in depth. This gives the user optimal depth adjustment which enables even scarifying over the total working width. The wheels have wheel scrapers fitted to keep the tread clean so that the machine is more stable and produces a clean cut. The control switch allows the knife axle to turn in two directions. When the knife axle turns counter clockwise, the machine drags itself forward which results in faster working. Although the raking efficiency is slightly slower than when the knife axle turns clockwise this way of working is ideal for raking your grass again in between seasons when necessary. When the knife axle turns clockwise, the knives turn against the drive direction, which results in making it harder for the operator to move the machine across the lawn. However, raking efficiency is optimum and therefore is done much more thoroughly.
