Heavier than I thought it would be and speed is slower than my walking pace and cannot be adjusted. Think a 16" may have been lighter and more suitable. The cut height is stepped and would be better if it were variable. However it is easy to start and has been reliable to date. The extended warranty offered depends on a Honda agent service within 2 years which is very expensive......Delivery suffered from a mix up at Gardenlines but arrived eventually. Price very competitive.

Early days, only used once so far but seems to be very satisfactory. Cut grass very damp from heavy dew. Not very good if you have an immaculate lawn and want stripes.

Was up and running within 5 minutes of opening the box, quiet engine and excellent finish, made me aware how poor my old lawnmower had been! Would definitely recommend

Having used this machine only once, I give my first impressions. The engine started at the first pull of the cord. It is a pleasure to use, easy to manoeuvre. and gives a good cut. Not the cheapest machine but the quality seems good, and it appears to be good value. So far I can find no fault, even my wife can use it!

This is the second one I have owned! A local gardener owns one too and uses it all day. It starts reliably and has a relative "footprint".

An excellent mower, but no good if you have sloping lawns. Not in the same league as the more expensive Honda Mower I had before this one, but well built and ideal for small, flat lawns.

It really does start first gentle pull and it sure packs the grass in tight into the box. Honda seem to have the technology sorted but the real test will be how long it stays perfect, the motor (Briggs and Stratton) on my last mower started playing up after only 2 years; the mixture was so rich it kept nearly stalling.

I am very pleased with my Honda mower. I did find the assembly instructions a little hard to follow, mainly the grass box, but when I did fathom it out everything was fine, it started on the second pull and cuts very well. A good buy at a good price. E Baker

Since receiving the lawn mower, we have only managed to cut the grass once due to holidays and poor weather!! Although the performance of the mower is excellent, the metal rod that sits under the grass collection basket (holding a black rubber mat) has broken which resulted in having to remove one of the wheels in order to remove the rod. Not sure what the purpose was for the black mat but no doubt will find out next time the grass needs cutting!!!

The machine starts first time, cuts the grass easily and has variable height settings. Drawbacks are collection box not large enough and height settings fiddly. Overall this mower is of good quality and value and I would recommend it to other prospective buyers.

After moving house last year, our old hover mower finally died on our much bigger lawn and we bought the Honda largely on the strength of customer reviews. After one cut, I would rate the Honda very highly; very easy to start, good cut, easy to manouver with the drive off. The drive is powerful but does not feel like it is running away from you. Minor niggles - the instructions are pictorial only and could do with textual explanations, the grass collector could do wth being a bit larger.

I carried out extensive research prior to selecting the Honda Izy. Having made my choice, I am very pleased with the mower. It was easy to assemble and once the oil and fuel were added, it burst into life immediately with one sharp pull! It is built well and purrs along very smoothly and does all I had hoped for. Only minor gripe would be the user guide which required much patience to fully understand as it was mainly pictures! I would certainly recommend this model to anyone looking for a quality mower at an affordable price.

After a bit of trouble starting the engine for the first time, works now with no problem. Easly to assemble from the box and changeable heads are great benefit. New hover grass cutter is great for tidying paths around the allotment.

This mower is a super model so easy to start and handle, being a bit disabled I find it a great improvement on the old Honda I have had for years,although the old mower was very reliable there was always the chance of chopping off your fingers when emptying the box and stupidly poking your hand onto the throat to clear a bit more grass, but this model stops as soon as you let go. I really am very pleased. I find the automatic choke good as well.

Very pleased with the service , Mower was delivered as promised early in the morning so no waiting around. Unfortuneatley as it has raised each day I have not had a chance to try the mower yet . One critisism is the operating instructions are not particulary clear and could be made easier to read.

Had an initial starting problem due to an oil soaked air filter but a new filter saw it starting easily. Seems well built and does its job well, particularly on long wet grass. Not as easy to manoeuvre on curved edges as my old cylinder mower and takes a little getting used to after 50 yaers with a cylinder mower but overall I would rate it as good value.

Started first time and works well. Time will tell whether this is a good buy but so far so good. Delivery was as stated. The suppliers openly displayed message that the product would not be sent out until recall work had beeen completed, which was a big bonus for me.

Makes me realise I should have bought a petrol mower years ago. This self propelled honda mower makes cutting the lawn so easy-highly recommended.
