Ordered late on Tuesday night and delivered by FedEx on Thursday morning. The Honda box was open all the way along the top and damaged in several places which gave me cause for concern but the mower was in perfect condition. For something as heavy as this I thought that the packaging was inadequate but that's just my opinion. Filled with the oil provided and fuelled up it started first time. This is an excellent mower. Excellent quality. I was in two minds whether to buy the push version or the self drive and I'm so glad that I chose the self drive. It drives so easily and takes all the hard work out of mowing my awkwardly shaped lawn. Very pleased and would buy again from GardenLines.

What a fantastic mower. Does everything as described but then it is a which best buy. My husband has mostly used other mowers we have owned as they are usually hard to start and heavy to use but this one is a dream and I can see battles ensuing over who gets to use it

Firstly the lawn mower was ordered on Monday and arrived the next day. Easy to set up, easy to use and cuts even long grass without a problem. The self propelled option makes easy work of our large lawn. Would highly recommend this model

Easy start, easy to manoeuvre, easy to adjust the cutting height. I am partially disabled and this has enabled me to continue to cut my own grass. Everything you'd expect from a qulity brand.

Have just completed 1 mow of our lawns and am pleased with the Honda Izy. At this stage I would say that it is better than our previous ATCO, and at least £100 cheaper. The collection bag is a little small, but the contents compact well. I can see why the Izy range has won several awards. Happy to have bought this machine!

It is early days as yet,only used once. It was easy to assemble and seems to be just what I was looking for,self drive so no pushing,but easy to use in the push mode for corners etc. Value for money will have to be assessed over a much longer time scale

This is my first petrol mower and it is proving to be a good choice. It was very easy to set up out of the box. The machine feels really well built and the quality is apparent. First cut was a good one and the height adjustment was very easy to use as is the start, stop and self drive. If you have a fairly flat garden this mower is light enough to use without the self drive but come to an incline or longer grass and a quick squeeze of the handle and the Izy powers itself through. Highly recommended.

The Honda IZY is an ideal machine for the average lawn. The rotary action gives an even cut especially if your garden is uneven. If it is like a bowls court then you should go for a cylinder mower. I found the automatic choke very useful as you can start mowing straight away. The self drive mechanism takes a little getting use to, especially if you have not had one before. I have owned several mowers and the IZY is undoubtedly the best.

I bought this lawnmower on behalf of my Mother in Law, who has always previously purchased Mountfields but was disappointed with her last one. After much pondering, she had heard excellent reviews about the Honda Izy and therefore decided to give it a try. The new lawnmower was delivered at record speed, next day in fact, so 5 out of 5 for this excellent service. My husband assembled it in record time with no hitches and it started first time. With the Mountfields, the two main problems that my mother in law and I had was getting it started again after it had stopped and emptying the fidgety grass box. Therefore, we are delighted to find that the Honda Izy 'does what it says on the tin' and starts first time every time without a man having to help us and the grass box is simple to empty and fix back on again. These points are particularly good for my mother in law, who is on her own a lot of the time and only five foot! The only reason why we have given it four out of five is because we feel that the grass box is quite small and needs emptying more often than the Mountfield. However, after a couple of cuts, we hope that this won't be as noticeable. Apart from this, we would have rated it five out of five.

Am very pleased with both the purchase and the delivery. An easy to use site with a good range of quality products at a good price. The mower arrived the next day, even though ordered after 2pm Will def use again!

Having used a number of types of lawn mower over the years, was very impressed with this one, it starts every time on the first pull, the automatic choke takes care of every thing, no priming, no wondering if you should have the choke on or off, and no yanking on the cord for half an hour! Cutting the grass takes literaly half the time of my last mower.

First class machine, starts first time and cuts the grass beautifully. Unlike my previous mower this one does not spray grass cuttings into the flower beds where it takes root! The Grass collection system is excellant.

I bought the Honda IZY after consulting the Which magazine in which this machine was a best buy. I needed it to mow two small lawns at the front of my property and to finish off the areas on my back lawn that my larger sit-upon mower cant reach. There are some slopes to contend with. This Honda IZY mower came straight out of the box and, after raising the handle and filling oil and petrol, it started first time and got on with the job. It is so quiet, easy to set cutting hieght, easy to handle and manouvre and I am so impressed with it. It is also fail safe with dead mans handle type controls. It copes with tall grass clumps very well and in mulch mode you can barely tell that the very fine mulch is being spread, saving trips to the compost heap. A most impressive high qulaity machine that is very good value indeed.

this is the second izy for me as a professional gardener i wanted a mower that is easy to use even in damp conditions, i never serviced the old one apart changing oil etc,only reason i got new one the old one wanted cables blade etc, and will get new bits,and keep as spare

We couldn't believe the speed and efficiency with which this mower was sent. Couldn't have gone to a shop quicker from where we live! in the wilds of Scotland. It arrived beautifully packed and was easy to put together. Full marks to gardenlines for thier efficient handling of our purchase, Can't fault it in any way.

Having researched a load of self propelled mowers I plumped for the Honda Izy HRG 415 C3 Self Drive. Easy to follow instructiions and, 15 minutes out of the box, after putting in the free oil and the not so free petrol (sic) and it was doing what it's supposed to do ! A neat little petrol mower with a reliable Honda engine and a decent size grass box, totally ideal for small to medium gardens. Pretty quiet for a petrol mower too ! -- I don't think I'll ever use a Flymo again !!

Simple to get running (literally 10 mins), does exactly what it needs to, and does it well. Build quality is top notch. There are no bells and whistles on this mower, and the better for it - it cuts grass just great. I was a little concerned that I should have gone for the larger one, but the smaller mower is very easy to handle and still takes no time to do the lawn (I have about a tennis court size lawn). Recommended.

Sturdy and smart looking machine. Started first time every time so far. Blade extending out beyond wheels cuts lawn up to edges. Quite heavy but very manouverable. Lever tips should be coloured to ensure inserted in correct slots. Mine arrived loose. Has made mowing half the effort on my 15 degree lawn compared to previous push mower. Price very competitive Generally very pleased.

Out of box, handle up, bag on, oil in, petrol in fuel flow on starts first time and has provided one of the best cuts and uplift I have had for years on my grass. The grass was slightly damp but a clean neat cut was achieved first time. Variable height covers all types of finish required. So far a first class machine whci had to be purchased towards the end of the season as my cylinder mower and Flymo packed in. This was recommended to me by a professional gardener and his recommendation was spot on.

Lawn mower was easy to set up and use, excellent quality as per 'which' testimony and dealt well with my uneven lawn and bits of tough rye grass. Great value for money and should be built to last.
