Best price on the net, next day delivery, great product and missing bottle of oil arrived the following day after a call. Highly recommended seller. The mower itself was easy to assemble, only needing the handle set up, adding the oil/fuel and it was ready to go. Nice easy wheels and the mower runs true and cuts better than my old Mountfield which sadly gave up the ghost. With hindsight, I should have gone for a model with a wider cut as I have alot of lawn. The grassbox is also a tad small but overall, these are not significant issues. The 3 year warranty is also a bonus.

NIce looking mower with good height adjustments and clean even cut. No throttle just on or off. Well made as previous Hayters I have owned, and should last many years. Plastic and allooy deck and frame make it reasonably light and rust proof and Briggs and Stratton engines pretty indestructable as long as serviced as suggested.
Well worth the money.

Firstly, excellent service from Garden lines. Call received to confirm order had been actioned followed by very prompt delivery next day. Must admit to not having a petrol mower before so cannot compare, but so far so good. Easy to put together even for a novice like me! Followed the instructions to the latter and took it for a test run. Lawn looked like a dream... Very easy to start, manouvre and empty. Sadly the rain has since been non stop so mower in storage but can't wait to use it again!

The machine is just brilliant. Had a Flymo petrol engine machine before and this beats it hands down. Why - it cuts better and lower - the height adjuster is one easy to use lever whereas the flymo you had to adjust 3 levers and even then the two front ones kept jumping out of their positions - the engine is bigger and therefore more powerful, - the grasscutting box is material which makes for far easier storage and finally it just looks the dogs dodas! The only aspect which is not brilliant is cutting in the wet - it does leave some cuttings behind but hey, just cut the lawn when dry - it is far easier. Would recommend this product to all my friends and the Flymo to my enemies!! Ha ha.

After limited use, the mower is performing well. Cutting performance is very good, but adjusting cut height needs care, or it will drop to the lowest height and carve a circle in the lawn. OK once you get used to it. Remains to be seen how well it stands up to use. So far, first time starter, and excellent performance.

I happily received the Lawnmower after a phone call to conveniently notify me of its impending arrival. It was well packed and easy to assemble. I have only used it once and found it was a bit heavier than I expected, which I hope suggests sturdiness. The Lawnmower was easy to pull start (I am female, wrong side of 50 by the way!) and the cut was brilliant. I was just browsing to see what I would like to replace my worn out mower next year. But I couldn't wait when I spotted a July offer on The Hayter Spirit 41.Wow!! I love it. Though being at a tender age I felt at first It was a little heavy but once I got started I never noticed. Super quality,ideal for a medium size lawn & love the wheel lift stick. Hope all the rain makes the grass grow faster.Thank you for my bargin.

The advert descibes the mower really well , however only until you actually use it do you fully appreciate what a great job it does. I must confess I'm wedded to the Hayter brand and this will be my third in 25 years, so I find it hard it see past them. but the new Spirit 41 push model is the best yet. Some reviews have said that it's heavy, but I find it solid rather than heavy and the new adjustable blade height mechanism is so easy and huge advance on its predecessor. Would recommend it very highly.

Having looked around for a suitable Hayter, I decided on the Spirit 41 push mower from this website. It arrived early the next day and was very easy to assemble the grass bag etc. It took a few times to start at the very beginning, but is easier now, so assume there wasnt enough oil, petrol in the system etc. I did follow the instructions regarding first time start. It is very quiet, very light but if there is one thing I would change if I could, is the size of the grass bag. It seems to fill up really quickly. But you cant have everything! I would recommend it.

I shopped around to decide which mower best suited my budget, I saw the hayter spirit at a local garden centre for £100 more than it was on this site. I liked the quality of the machine and realy liked the easy height adjustment lever.After a quick delivery and good first mow the rear wheel broke off. I was shocked but I got on to garden lines who told methat they have never heard of that happening before and they sent a new wheel which arrived the next day. The 4 is because the wheel broke , I would give gardenlines a 5 for their excellent price and customer service.

Having read previous reviews, I purchased the Hayter Spirit 41 and I have not been disappointed. The build quality of this machine is exceptional and it performs very very efficiently, with grass collection first class. It handles my lawns (4) with consumate ease, therby allowing me more time to get on with other gardening tasks. I have no hesitation in awarding this machine 5 out of 5.

Order process very efficient - price very competitive - Assembly of mower very straightforward - machine started first time - found the first use of machine to be heavier than expected however it made a good job of cutting - grassbox very easy to fit and detach.

Was easy for my husband to put together. Was worried about being able to start it on my own, but normally starts on the second pull - so really pleased. Well built lawnmower which gives a good cut. Our front lawn is quite bumpy, but it still cuts it well. Good value for money.

The mower is everything it claims, a good product. However I was more impressed by the way GardenLines delt with my order. The mower was deliverd by next days post but was found to run with a missfire, a phone call to GardenLines resulted in a perfect replacement by next post and the faulty one collected. A local dealer is likely to have insisted on the hassle of repairs.

Bought it to replace a trusty Mcculloch. I chose it the Hayter after some extensive research and the fact that it was recommended by Which? Have a huge garden which is undulating and on a slope. The machine looks fab and is not too heavy. After carefully unpacking and filling with fuel and oil it started first time without a hitch. It then made lightwork of some very long grass and was very easy to manoevre. Love it.

Really good quality mower, it seems robust. Used it a few times now and getting used to it now. The cut is superb and even on wet grass it picks up. The price is really good for a hayter,spent that on a cheap b and q petrol mower. My only concern is on starting,it seems to take an age to warm up and sounds duddery for a short while. when it gets going it sounds good,not too loud. Recommend for sure

Now used item and very impressed. Easy to put together. Mower starts first time. Item used within a business, and I would say slightly heavier than I anticipated, but I am lifting mower in and out of vehicle!! The cut is really good, and runs very smoothly and is really quite quiet. Nice machine - well worth cost - you get what you pay for! Well done Hayter.

Although I have not cut the grass yet the machine is far more robust than I had expected for the price I paid. Having followed the assembly instructions it started on the third pull. I am very happy with the mower and the delivery service.

It seems a little boring but I have to continue with the line of excellent remakes for this product. Very neat and easy to assemble. With a slight slope and uneven lawn, the mower dealt with these factors and produced a great cut. Delivery prompt so all in all very happy.

I have a quite large rather lumpy lawn thats a play area for 2 dogs. I found this lawn mower easy to push and manoeuvre, the height adjustment is very easy, the cut is good and its easy to start. Even the grass box is well designed and easy to put on and off. Its a quality product and very good value for money. I am sure it will give years of good service.

The lawnmower is very well manufactured with quality of a high standard. I have not owned a petrol mower before and found that it was simple to use and gave a first class cut. I should have made the change from electric mowers years ago. The instruction booklet was easy to understand and I was using the mower with no problem within minutes.

Early days... only had the mower 4 days! But 1st impressions good. Delivery as promised and packaging good. Looks and feels good to handle. Easy instructions to get started. Started on 1st pull. Cut grass well without leaving trails of grass - all went into the collector bag. Let's hope it lasts!

chose hayter because it is a good name in lawnmowers,wasn't dissapointed.sturdy in construction,easy to use,cuts the grass really well regardless of how uneven the ground is,and the briggs and stratton engine makes the whole package an excelent buy
