Re: Turbo Lite 400. This arrived the day following my order as promised, securely boxed. After reading the instructions, which were very clear, the mower was ready to go in about 10 minutes.
This mower replaces a Flymo that I bought in 1981 and which, although still runs and cuts perfectly, is much bigger and heavier than the new one.
I would expect the new mower to be as reliable as the old one and after using it a few times, find it to be delightfully light and easy to carry, even with my bad back. It also feels as sturdy as the old one and well put together.
I bought the 400 for the more powerful motor and wider cut. My daughter has had the 330 for five years without any trouble.
I would certainly recommend the steel bladed versions of this range of Flymo for small to medium lawns.

Arrived quickly, fairly easy to assemble, very easy to use, floats like a butterfly, cuts like a ...! quite big though check out 440 cms, quite a lot! Stores easily getting it flat easy keeping it flat whilst moving it not quite so.

A powerful 'home' mower that has a good cutting area. Easy to set up... lots of height settings... very clear instructions, almost unnecessary. And at a very good price compared with local stores... especially when you factor in the free delivery. Excellent va;ue... well worth hunting for on the net.

Previously had a flymo easi real with on board cutting collection. Whilst easy to use it was far too heavy to manoevure. Flymo Turbo Lite 400 was easy to put together and an absolute breeze to use - easy to manoevure and easy to store - takes up less space than the previous one.

Easy to use - but am not sure how I am supposed to get to the cover of the filter to get out the grass! Otherwise, fine. Used it today for the first time and very efficient.

I had previously had Flymos, so knew what to expect and was not disappointed. I should have got the size smaller as the garden is small and my tool shed is a bit crowded. Good product and good service. Thank you.

The Flyno 400 has made the job of controlling the steep lawn behind my house much easier and quicker. The mower feels lighter and is easier to handle and this, for me, more than makes up for the lack of a grass-collecting box. Cost holds its own against quotes on (out of stock) mowers at B&Q.

Having only used it once so far, I can only say that I always use flymo hover mowers as they're so easy to use. They are great value for money and I didn't find it any cheaper anywhere else, so that's why I buy from you. The service is fantastic! Thanks

Good value machine but I wish they add a clip somewhere to hang the wire lead some where when the machine is put away that goes also for other types lawn mowers machine.

It does the job I want it to do - mow the grass and leave it looking quite attractive. It is not heavy. This one is a replacement for an identical machine which lasted a good many years. The booklet recommends service every 50 hours or two years: I enquired about service when I bought the previous one, and was told there was nothing to service. I therefore never had it serviced and it did not break down until it died of old age.

Good product and am pleased with it. Only thing I would say about is that the height adjustment wasn't explained very well and is pretty naff especially when you try to adjust it after you have cut some of the grass. Though on the whole not a bad product

This has replaced my father-in-laws old flymo. I use it for banks and edges. This model is slightly bigger, more powerful and not much heavier, which is what I wanted. I like the clip on the electric connection at the handle and also the the loop mechanism for holding the cable; a clever invention. The one thing it doesn't seem to do, is allow the handle to stand upright when storing, but apart from that I am well pleased after my first mowing.

I bought this to replace the basic plastic bladed flymo light which barely lasted two weeks befor the blade support structure fractured. The 400 has a superior support structure and a metal blade. It really does hover over my difficult banking and cuts to perfection much superior machine.

Excellent mower, easy to handle and produces a nice even cut. Wanted a hover to ease pain problems in my shoulder, which it has certainly helped. Much easier than my push cylinder mower. Only downside is the height adjustment which involves undoing one large nut to remove cutting blade (Spanner provided), and adding or taking away a washer(4 provided). Easy to do and would only be required once or twice a year, but if you are averse to handling tools maybe not for you. This only reason for not giving maximum 5.

Chosen as it has a larger cut than many. Has been ideal for cutting grass on the bank where the roller mower will not go. Was very easyto assemble for use (5 mins max) and easy to operate.

This is the original, classic Flymo, but made of lightweight plastic so it does - almost! - "hover!" Its simple, easy to use, effective, and I'd forgotten how much fun it is to use. The perfect replacement for a series of much more expensive, much more complicated machines. Highly recommended.

The Turbo light 400 mower was purchased as a replacement for a similar mower purchased some 14 years ago which has been used intensively during this time for arduous duties cutting steep banks and coarse grass . I have been more than impressed by its durability and am exceptionaly pleased to find that I could aquire an exact relacement for a similar price to that originally paid.

We have a medium sized garden and the Flymo Turbo Lite 400 did an excellent job in cutting the grass. It was so easy to use, that my husband "showed off" by using it with one hand only. Our old machine took all our strength to push it over the lawn. The Flymo is great value for money and spare parts if they are ever needed appear to be readily available. Mrs. J. Fullerton.

The Flymo Turbo Lite 400 Hover is the ideal model for the combination of lawns which I have to mow. The front lawn is small but steeply sloped and grass collecting models are too heavy. The back lawn is often damp and also on a slope and wheeled mowers are too heavy to push. The 400 is large enough to cope with all these conditions, I had one for a number of years but was unable to find a replacement in the local shps - so was pleased to find it available on line.
