The New Keo cordless garden saw from Bosch holds the branch while cutting for comfortable, one-handed working.
Its special feature is the detachable "A-Grip", a branch grip that allows you to hold both the saw and the branch simultaneously with only one hand. With the "A-Grip" twigs can be cut comfortably without needing to use your free hand to stabilize the branch which would otherwise sway back and forth as a result of the sawing motion. This is especially advantageous when pruning higher, hard-to-reach branches.
The Keo garden saw can also be used to easily and effortlessly cut plant stakes, trellises or pickets to length. Detaching the "A-Grip" increases the maximum cutting diameter from 60 to 80 millimetres and enables the user to saw close to the tree trunk.
The Keo weighs only 1,050 grams including the "A-Grip" and sits perfectly in your hand due to its small grip circumference and softgrip coverings.
The saw blade is changed quickly and easily using the SDS system - turn the ring, remove the saw blade, click in the new saw blade, and turn the ring back. The "Top for Wood", "Flexible for Wood and Metal", "Flexible for Metal" and "Special for Plaster" saber saw blades are available as accessories. The accelerator switch with continuously variable stroke rate ensures that the right speed can be selected for every material.
The Keo cordless garden saw is powered by a 10.8 volt battery with lithium-ion technology. The charge level indicator on the tool can be used at any time to find out how much energy is left in the battery. With one battery charge you can cut approximately 190 branches of up to 15 millimetre diameter, 70 branches of up to 30 millimetre diameter or 30 branches of up to 60 millimetre diameter. A further advantage is that lithium-ion batteries have hardly any self-discharge so remain ready to use even if they have not been used for a lengthy period of time. They also have no memory effect so can be recharged at any time without any deterioration in battery performance.
