This 150 litre (33 Gallon) Water Butt is manufactured in the UK and made from rotationally moulded Polyethylene for high strength and U.V. stabilised to resist breakdown from sunlight. This tank 60cm diameter and 70cm high for neat storage and it has a screw top lid as shown in the image for easy access to the stored water. The storage tank can either be connected to one of your main Down Pipes with the easy to install Filter Collector and the 1 meter Link Kit enabling the Water Tank to be up to a meter from the Down Pipe which is available as an optional extra. Alternatively from a shed, garage or Greenhouse roof water can be directed directly into one of the top opening via the removal of one of the screw top lids. For water extraction from the Water Tank there is an option for us to pre install a Hozelock fitting, or you can use a submersible pump both of which are available as optional extras. If you choose a Hozelock fitting the water butt will need to be raised off the ground to an appropriate height on initial installation, perhaps on small brick plinth. The Filter Collector collects rainwater and removes leaves to reduce the risk of disease and eliminates sludge in your butt, less algae and fewer pipe blockages enabling water to be pumped safely. The filter has a high efficiency (85-95%) of normal rainfall with debris being directed down the down pipe. The Filter Collector fits all UK down pipes form 65 to 100mm and round and 65-68mm square and is available in Black, Brown, White or Grey. The filter can be easily removed for cleaning. The Link kit connects the filter to the water tank and a hole will have to be drilled in the Tank at the appropriate position to fit the kit.
