It does its job brilliantly..and was purchased to replace another older honda that for 15 yrs had also managed to do its job brilliantly. Quality is first class, as always with Honda..Value for money?....I could have bought another make more cheaply...but you get what you pay for, and my money says I'll probably get 15 years out of the new one as well

I have only used the mower once so far but found it easy to start and easy to handle.The resulting cut was an excellent job. So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a great lawnmower for the medium sized garden. Only drawback is the small(ish) size of the grass collector which if you've let your garden grow a little (like i had) will need emptying quite frequently! Great build quality and easy to use.

This is the 2nd honda we have purchased ,as before it is easy to start and operate and totally reliable, all mowers should have this clutch/drive system it is completly safe and much beter than mowers that you have to STOP to empty

Fantastic product - - 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. It's really easy to start and control and the finished appearance of the grass is superb after only the first cut. Before I know it I'll be the proud owner of a "Lawn"!! The large grass box also reduces the trips to the compost heap

honda may not be cheap, but quality never is. honda hrx 426 qx is in my opinion 5star. starts first pull cuts beautifull. and is so quiet i don't worry about waking neigbours sunday morning. build quality 5 star cut 5 star. must try a honda car next john atkinson

After putting oil, petrol and connecting the Spark plug lead, the Honda fires up immediately on the first pull of the recoil starter! Very impressive. The blade fires up and engage.
Pro:
Great and high quality finish
Fires up first time and work reliablty since (I have mowed the lawn twice)
Con:
Need to be careful with very long grass - may clout the blade
Finish not as good as a cylinder mower but much more effective in sucking up leaves from the lawn

Compared to the mower I used to have (cheapo from chain store!) this is the king. Very easy to start & beautiful cut. Well worth paying a bit more to get the roto stop - worth its weight in gold as I have lower back pain, and not having to keep start the mower is a dream!! It is heavier than last machine simply becuase it is made better and more solid, so it did seem a bit harder to turn it when clutch not engaged. Once I got the knack then no problem. I would well recommend this mower - ideal for gents and ladies.

The mower is well constructed which is reflected by the relatively high price. It is easy to use and performs well on various surfaces. Good value for money
