Hayter lawnmower started 3rd pull out of the box and I put it straight to work, very pleased with the results worth every penny. If I have to find any fault at all it's the fact the mower comes with no oil in the engine and the free supplied oil is all used to fill her up leaving no oil but hey not a real issue, perhaps that needs to be made clear?

2nd Hayter lawnmower in 25 yrs. well made, started 2nd pull, very quiet, easy to manouvre, easy to keep clean due to style of body. Good cutting height adjustment. Good value for money from an established manufacturer

it arrived promptly and well packaged. It was very easy to set up and operate. I first used it on wet grass, which it did not pick up all the cuttings but on a second pass it did. I am very pleased with my purchase and the efficiency of garden lines.

Good quality mower with quiet engine. Easy to use - very simple and easy height adjustment. Large grass box. Does everything it should very well indeed - very pleased.
No negatives.

The lawnmower arrived fully constructed with just the collection box requiring a frame to be inserted, being supplied with the oil was very useful too! Used the lawnmower for the first time yesterday. The height change mechanism is very easy to use. The Engine started first time after priming. I found the the mower easy to use and the cut very good.

The lawnmower works fine but I think you should make it clear that its quite heavy to push up hill and if your garden is anything but flat a power assisted mower is necessary.

The lawnmower started at the first attempt. It cut the grass beautifully. Easy to handle, not too heavy.

Recieved mower on time and had courtesy call to advise of delivery which was a nice touch.Two people delivered and asked me where i wanted it put which is also very good as it was very heavy. Topped up with free oil and put petrol in started second pull which is
all i have come to expect from hayter as this is my second mower from them in 24 years
the quality shines through. As for gardenlines will use again with out a doubt lets hope they are around when i need my next mower

this mower was delivered next day. it was easy to assemble and started well.it is suitable for medium sized lawns, it could be a bit narrow cut for large lawns but i think its good value for money.

Having finally decided on which petrol lawnmower to buy, I could not have been happier when it arrived. Assembly took under 5 mins, and the size and weight of the machine is ideal, as some mowers seem to be alot heavier! The cut was excellent, as would be expected from a quality brand.
I really like the 1 lever that adjusts the height of cut, no fuss and quick.
Having used several petrol lawn mowers over the years I have no hesitation in recommending this model to anyone looking to replace or purchase a petrol mower.

Good looking machine, very easy to assemble straight from box, started on third pull, excellent height of cut arrangement and easy to manoeuver around lawn, very quiet. overall more than pleased with it.

Used only once. Grass was long with considerable moss growth. Ground was rather soft and uneven.
Machine was well packed and in good condition. Dipstick needs care as oil scraped off the sides of the filler tube could give a false reading.
Several attempts were required to start the engine and after the third stop to empty the bag it would not start but was ok. after being left for 15 minutes.
Grass bag is of good size and easy to empty.
Transfer of grass cuttings into the bag was so good very little cleaning was necessary.
The engine had ample power even for these conditions.
Wheels are quite wide. The advantage is they don't dig into the soil but it is harder to manoeuvre in some parts of my odd shaped lawn.
The folding handle is a good idea but should, I feel be of heavier construction. At the joint the two sides are not quite aligned but this is a minor defect.
My overall impression is that this is a good, well designed and well built machine which is made for hard work.
