As soon as I got the machine home, my husband assembled it--very easily and I set off round the garden, and even though the grass was slightly wet, the cut was beautiful. I sometimes have difficulty walking, but the machine was very easy and comfortable to use. An excellent buy

Simple to use, excellent cut, no job seems too difficult & will pick up any amount of grass even when wet. Auto drive very simple and very effective. Could do with a more precise height adjuster as the one it has is very basic, other than that great mower.

Finally managed to get the lawns cut with the Hayter. Once the oil was put in and the engine primed the mower stared first pull. Cut was good. I am still getting used to the variable autodrive, but don't expect it to be a problem. Fairly heavy, but manouverable without too much effort. Height adjustment easy. Operating manual OK, but could give more information regarding grassbox. Overall very pleased.

This lawnmower is excellent. Powerful engine and good build quality. It is fairly heavy though so if you have a particularly hilly garden it can be a bit of a challenge to manoeuvre. Overall though an excellent purchase.
