Bought this as a present. Looks to be a quality set and is certainly good value for money when compared with all of the croquet sets on the market - many of which are extremely expensive! Had to give this a 4/5 rather than 5/5 though because of a couple of niggles: the metal clips on the bag were rusty when we received this, as if it had been in storage for a long time. Secondly, the instructions tell you to use clips to clip onto the hoops in order to record where each player is up to. This set does not come with such clips - I assume the instructions are generic for a number of sets.

The cottage croquet set is ideal garden set as described by present line it is a lovely product, the whole family and importantly the teenager friends of my daughters get the set out as soon as they get in. It is real pleasure to see them enjoying themselves in the garden. The product and customer services is a real winning combination the team should be congratulated with their friendly customer service.

Service was first class. Quality of goods appears good but not yet in use. A present for August. Unfortunately no clips to put on the hoops to record progress through the game.

A very good quality Croquet set which will admirably meet the expectations of a young family. Well packed and delivered the day after ordering in December!!

As a gift so unused by me, but seemed excellent quality and fully equipped. As a 'Cottage' set, the heads are slightly smaller than standard croquet mallets, but not significantly so and wouldn't affect performance.

A very nice product in a very nice carryall bag. Saw its first outing at a family party yesterday where it was thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults, from 4 to 40s. I see it becoming a family favourite.

We required a family crochet set suitable for beginners to use in the garden, yet not a toy set and that is what we have.
A slightly smaller set but of the top quality materials.

A good little set, nicely presented, and at a very fair price. However, currently awaiting one replacement ball, promised for delivery very soon; set was originally supplied with three 11" circumference balls and one 12" circumference.
