did the job perfectly well. excellent value, light and easily moved around. had no problems at all.

This was much quieter than other shredders i have used and a great deal easier to unblock (which occurs less frequently than with others .) The hopper design means that twiggy branches become much quicker to deal with and the angled blade tends to pull material into the machine which speeds the process up. All in all very good.

Excellent. Have recently moved into a bungalow with garden surrounded by conifers & untended for 18 months. A full day's work with chainsaw was shredded comfortably.
My son was impressed enough to say@I think I'll get one of these myself' Praise indeed!!

Seems after just a few uses to be simple to use and does the job well. I had considered a petrol driven shredder - time will till if the electric one is reliable longer term.

Great product, first shredder I've purchased and did so because we have just moved into house with large overgrown garden. It's coped with everything thrown at it, including branches from holly bushes and fir trees. Just a shame it doesn't come with a bag/box for collecting the shreddings, but easy enough to place a box underneath, I use an old recycling box!

Excellent machine, but just as important: the Gardenlines service is perfect, swift delivery and a phone call to say the goods are on the way. Very pleased. Machine and Gardenlines highly recommended.

Reduces compost material efficiently though a little noisier than anticipated. Light weight makes handling so much easier than (2) predecessors.

This shredder works best with medium sized twigs (5-25 mm); it struggles a little with heavier material and tends to clog with lighter. Once you know this and work accordingly, it performs well.
The rate at which it can take light twigs, slows things up a little when, for example, you are clearing herbaceous perennials. However, if you do try to put too much through too fast, it's easy to take apart and unblock.
It is quieter than I expected. Unprotected, the noise is not unbearable and, with ear-muffs, is no problem at all.

Although it has only been used once to date it did what we expected it to do shredding garden rubbish ready to compost. It will save many trips to the refuse tip!!

Ordered my shredder on Friday afternoon and it arrived on Monday. Much cheaper than B&Q so well chuffed!

This is the first Shredder we have used and can only say we are more than pleased with it, it is fast ,efficient and very easy to use. it will make our Autumn tidy up so much easier and faster as we have a big garden mostly containing shrubs and bushes.
Would recommend this product to friends and family.

We have found this shredder very good once we understood what could be put into it and that it works best when the materials are dry. It will be very useful.

Puchased shredder on-line £19.99 cheaper than B&Q . arrived early following morning so service excellent .
The Shredder surpassed my expectations , I am currently shredding everything in sight , even cardboard and putting it straight onto the compost .

The Bosch AST 2000 Rapid shredder is very time saving when reducing garden waste for composting. The delivery was as described very prompt. This shredder was cheaper than B&Q and I didn't have to lift it into my car. My husband used it for the first time at the weekend, he was also impressed with the efficiency of this product. However I did forget to purchase the collection bag which would have saved him sweeping up the shredded material. The machine is about as noisy as a regular lawn mower until larger twigs are put through it. My husband recomends to wear safety goggles when using this machine. We are both very pleased as it does the job it was bought for.

It does what it says on the box but would be better with a automatic feed, but that would make it more exspensive

Not used a shredder before so not able to compare. Works better on thicker branches wood than on smaller twigs which require a good deal of prodding to get them through. Does not like stones.

Went for Bosch make for reliability and value for money. No complaints with any previous Bosch products purchased.
