Hedge-trimmer appears to be well made & functional but too early to say how well it performs in a longer test (it hasn't stopped raining since it arrived!). Impressed with the lightness of the item & it appears well-balanced to handle.

previously had AHS 52 14.4 v cordless hedgecutter and do not think this is an improvement upon it. Only has one battery which is more fiddly to instal and take out. Not as well balanced as previous model and handle and safety cut out arrangement not comfortable to hold. Handle seems to be of a fairly flimsey construction. Would not buy a hedgecutter again on basis of a description, would now always want to see and hold it first. Cutters seem to work in similar manner to my earlier one.
