Ryobi RBV 2400VP Electric Blow Vac

The Ryobi RBV-2400VP Variable speed Electric Blow Vac has a powerful 2400 watt motor that provides airflow of up to 167mph or at the turn of a switch will vacuum at between 8 to 14cubic metres/minute with a mulch ratio of up to 10:1.

It has a shaped nozzle roller to assist steering and provide support, a patio head attachment that prevents suction from pulling the unit to the floor, a wide aperture clip on the 45 litre bag for easy emptying and a shoulder strap for added comfort and control.

The 'Livetool' indicator glows blue when it is plugged in to the power supply and it comes complete with 12metres of cable.

I have tried various "blower vacs". The great thing about these Ryobi's is the simplicity of changing from blow to vac. No one else does this. If I'd tried everything else available I'd probably give it 5

As reported by one purchaser the unit is cumbersome and difficult to manouvre. It's also very noisy with a rating of 107dbA. When operating at max speed you definitely need ear defenders and probably your close neighbours too. It also came with 2 screws missing which are necessary to secure the lower housing. Performance however is good and mulches efficiently. It was quite effective at picking up some not allo acorns.
