The Agri Fab 40inch/102cm width Plug Aerator allows seed, fertilizer, air and water to reach deep into the lawn's roots and along with de thatching allows moisture and nutrients to get down to the root level so the grass plant can utilize them, providing a healthier lawn.
Plug aerators are perfect for highly compacted or clay soil conditions and will remove 3inch depth by ¾ inch diameter soil plugs from the lawn, allowing compacted soil to loosen up in addition to the benefits provided by a spike aerator. Best for easily compacted soil (like clay), heavy traffic areas (playgrounds and sports fields), and burned out, drought damaged lawn.
Ideal for use from early spring though to autumn this Plug Aerator with its hitch pin and single lever transport handle is suitable for towing behind all types of lawn tractors and ride on mowers.
It has 24 heat treated points (6 x 4 per spool) and weight trays with convenient tie down points that take standard size concrete blocks.
