The Mighty Mac Stump grinder is powered by a 10hp Briggs and Stratton Industrial/ Commercial heavy-duty OHV engine. It has a patented 30 degree offset cutter head for a smooth quick cutting action to provide the same results as much larger machines.
An easily convertible handle enables the user to grind stumps from front or rear providing better visibility and allowing removal of stumps wherever they are situated and with the tough welded uni-body it is strong, durable, compact and at just 64cm wide highly manoeuvrable.
It has a centrifugal clutch for easy starting that is designed to slip under excessive load to avoid damage to the machine and has an exclusive braking system that stops the cutter head in 1.2 seconds. Large pneumatic 13 inch turf tyre mean no skid and very low turf compaction.
The easy access cutter head allows for quick sharpening with minimal down time. Long lasting bearings are used on axles and cutter shafts for years of trouble free use and the front bumper doubles as a handle for ease of lifting and to provide essential engine protection in transit while the rear kickstand elevates the cutter head during storage for added protection and longer life.
The Briggs and Stratton Industrial/Commercial OHV engines feature cast iron cylinder liners; pumped oil feed system and a heavy duty air filter for sustained power and reliability under demanding conditions.
