The Lonus 2 quiet shredder from Scheppach with a 2.2hp electric motor has a maximum cutting capacity of 40mm and achieves maximum cutting efficiency with minimal use of energy from the Low Noise System roller chopper mechanism. (NOTE the picture opposite depicts the Lonos 3 the Lonos 2 looks very similar) The combined roller/chopper mechanism is maintenance and adjustment free and revolves at just 39 rpm to ensure quick and effective processing of material and can handle branches of up to 40mmm in diameter.
The compact impact resistant housing is manufactured from high quality synthetic material and with an integral handle and trolley and a minimal overall weight of just 24kg it is easy to use, move and store.
