The Scheppach OX1 Log Splitter will split logs up to 55cm in length.
Designed primarily for domestic use but built to professional standards it offers a safe, efficient and energy saving alternative to the axe and chopping block and you get perfect uniform logs every time.
An exceptional high safety standard is achieved with the two handed operating system as neither hand can leave the safety zone while splitting is in operation. The splitting wedge slices through the toughest wood and the powerful two-way hydraulic cylinder driven by a 2.2kW/3.0hp motor quickly returns the wedge to its original upper position.
Highly specified the OX 1 is of strong torsion resistant steel construction and features two handed safety control with hand guard, a continuously adjustable hand riser, swivel table with safety clamp wood holding device and a traversing mechanism. With transport wheels for easy manoeuvrability the Scheppach OX1operates on a normal domestic 230v supply.
Thicker logs can be split in to four pieces using the optional cross shape wedge, see options box below.
