The Sahara is manufactured in long lasting aluminium coated steel, with a stainless steel burner and affords the gardener the simplicity and reliability he expects.

There are two heaters in the Sahara range - both have a heat output of 2.5kW and are thermostatically controlled, but they vary in their methods of control.

Sahara Silver has a non-electric thermostat which turns the heater down to just a small pilot flame when desired temperature is achieved.

Sahara Gold has an electrically operated solenoid valve which is operated by an electric thermostat for greater accuracy and maximum fuel economy. It needs an electrical supply and is made to order within approximately 14 working days.

Both of the Sahara heaters are available for use with Propane or Natural Gas. Natural gas models should only be installed by a Corgi registered gas fitter and Propane models require a regulator (see options below).

Options for the Propane model include a regulator and hose set; a gas low gauge that you can attach to your regulator to indicate when you need to replace the gas cylinder and an auto change over valve that will automatically change from one gas bottle to another (includes hoses, connections and full user instructions).

Gas powered greenhouse heaters should only be used in well ventilated areas to ensure the CO2 sensor is not set-off thus cutting out operation.
