The Regal 4 KW Greenhouse heater is available for LPG or Natural Gas and with an output of 4KW will heat an area of up to 140 sq ft and provide frost protection for an area of up to 350sq ft.
The Regal is manufactured in long lasting aluminium coated steel, with a stainless steel burner, affords the gardener the simplicity and reliability he expects and provides a generous heat output of 4kW for almost any size of amateur greenhouse.
There are two heaters in the Regal range - both have a heat output of 4kW and are thermostatically controlled, but they vary in their methods of control.
Regal Silver has a non-electric thermostat which turns the heater down to just a small pilot flame when desired temperature is achieved.
Regal Gold is operated by an electrical thermostat and an electrical solenoid valve which reduces output to just a small pilot flame as soon as the thermostat is satisfied. The electrical thermostat gives greater accuracy and consequently better control over fuel consumption. It needs an electrical supply and is made to order within approximately 14 working days.
Both of the Regal heaters are available for use with Propane or natural gas. Natural gas models should only be installed by a Corgi registered gas fitter and Propane models require a regulator (see options below).
Options for the Propane model include a regulator and hose set; a gas low gauge that you can attach to your regulator to indicate when you need to replace the gas cylinder and an auto change over valve that will automatically change from one gas bottle to another (includes hoses, connections and full user instructions).

Gas powered greenhouse heaters should only be used in well ventilated areas to ensure the CO2 sensor is not set-off thus cutting out operation.
