The new Hayter Harrier 493 BBC rear roller rotary lawn mower with the Blade Brake Clutch has variable speed auto-drive and a Briggs & Stratton Quantum XTS 50 I/C Power engine for reliability and easy starting.

A simple hand control drives the machine effortlessly and a separate lever controls the speed of the mower to suit the operator's preference and the area being mowed.

With the (BBC) blade brake clutch mechanism engaged the engine keeps running with the blade staying stationery. This extra safety feature saves on restarting the engine after emptying the grass bag and is useful for driving across gravel pathways while the engine is running. The split differential ribbed rear roller gives a traditional striped finish to fine lawns and with the cutter blade raised slightly rougher areas can be cut with ease. With a cutting width of 48cm (19inches) this mower is ideal for medium to large lawns and a pleasure to use around intricate areas or large expanses of lawn.
